MEXICO — River Valley Rec is offering fall soccer for K-6 and flag football for K-3.

Class of 1964 MHS lunch

RUMFORD — The Mexico High School Class of ’64 will hold their monthly lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the River Valley Grill.

Children’s Cancer Program walk, 5K

RUMFORD — Maine Children’s Cancer Program walk and 5K run will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Hosmer Field Complex.

Seniors plan trip for show, meal

RUMFORD — On Oct. 9 members of the Rumford Senior Center and the public will be going to the Town & Country for a show and a meal.

The show is “Bingo Spells Murder” and the meal will consist of choice of roast prime rib, nut crusted chicken or baked stuffed jumbo shrimp. The cost for this trip is $48.

Participants will be car-pooling so organizers need to know how many people will be attending. Call 364-4700 by Sept. 19 to make reservations.
