1939 – 2013

WATERFORD — Betty Jean Eaton Millett, 74, of Waterford, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, at her home, with her family by her side.

Betty was born in Boston, Mass., on March 29, 1939, the daughter of Fredrick and Georgia Ann Eaton. She graduated from Norway High School in the Class of 1957. Betty married Ralph L. Millett on June 15, 1957. She was a homemaker for many years, taking care of her youngest son and making crafts, which she enjoyed.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ralph; daughter, Donna M. Scribner of Waterford; sons, Russell D. and his wife, Brenda, of Waterford and Ray of Naples; grandchildren, Jessica Cotton and her husband, Rocky, of Waterford, Sunny Millett of Massachusetts, Ashley L. Millett of North Carolina, Nina Millett and her fiancé, Brent Miller, of New Hampshire and Jason Brown of Augusta; four special great-grandchildren whom she thought the world of, Haley Scribner, and Mariah, Ryan and Hunter Cotton, all of Waterford. She also leaves behind a sister, Paula A. Strohl of Kentucky; and a sister-in-law, Donna Eaton of South Paris.

Betty was predeceased by her son, Rick J.; her parents; and a brother, David Eaton.
