MECHANIC FALLS — Victor L. Fournier, 58, died Friday, Aug. 30.

He was born in Lewiston on April 7, 1955, the son of Paul and Lillian (Michaud) Fournier.

He worked for many years at Pathways and enjoyed his time volunteering at the Good Shepherd Food-Bank. Victor enjoyed playing the piano, watching his favorite movies and loved to be around children.

His final years were spent living with his caregivers, Kathy and Rick Downing, who provided a warm and caring family environment for Victor.

He is survived by his sisters, Joyce St. Pierre and husband, Roger, of Auburn, Lillian Wright and husband, Dutch, of Naples, Fla., and Pauline Paradis and husband, Paul, of Poland; his brothers, Don Fournier and wife, Joan, of Sabattus, George Fournier and wife, Joyce, of Brentwood, Tenn., and Leroy Fournier and wife, Elaine, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Paul Fournier; and his sister, Claire St. Laurent.
