LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating the theft of about 250 feet of copper pipe from a house on Campground Road.
The copper has an estimated value of $1,000, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Tuesday.
The owner of the property was mowing the lawn Sunday when he discovered pieces of copper in the grass, he said. The man checked the house and discovered the pipe from the plumbing system had been stolen, he said.
Officer Daniel Chabot is investigating.
