AUBURN — Sheila Ann Henry, 63, of Auburn, passed away Friday night, Aug. 30, following a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 3, 1950, to parents George and Nettie (Smiley) Coffren. Sheila lived most of her life on North River Road in Auburn and worked at General Electric.

“I grew up around this river on North River Road, and if you spend enough time you will see many rainbows. I cannot say if you ever find your pot of gold, though many splendid rainbows. And that the sun will always come out tomorrow. Goodbye, Mom.” — Michael J. Henry Jr.

She is survived by her son, Michael J. Henry Jr. and his companion of 17 years, Mary Lindquist; four grandchildren, Justin, Chelsea, David and Jonathan; and four great-grandchildren, Jillian, Gracey, Garrett and Hannah. She also leaves behind her three sisters who cared for her in the end, Mary Bent, Cleo Coffren and Darlene Coffren, and many nieces and nephews.
