North Jay Grange to sponsor supper

NORTH JAY — North Jay Grange will hold a supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. There will be baked beans, casseroles, salads, meatballs, hot dogs, kielbasa, breads, desserts and beverages.

Historical society plans summer auction

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Historical Society will hold a summer auction at the North Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. Public viewing will be at 5.

Annual Mt. Blue Football Tailgate Party

FARMINGTON — The 17th annual Mt. Blue Football Tailgate Party will be held before the Lawrence Varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 13, at Mt. Blue High School.

The menu includes a half chicken meal for $6.50, a quarter pound hamburg or two hot dogs each for $5. All meals include cole slaw, chips, a brownie and a drink. Food will be served between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Seating is available. Tickets are available to purchase from all Mt. Blue High School football players or they can be purchased at Madore’s Market in West Farmington and Shelly’s Hometown Market in East Wilton. Tickets may be available at the event, but advanced purchase is advised.

All proceeds benefit the Mt. Blue High School program.

Church supper is canceled for September

FARMINGTON — The monthly public supper at Trinity United Methodist Church on the Farmington Falls Road has been cancelled for September as it falls within the week of Farmington Fair.
