BRYANT POND — Myron “Bud” Harlow, 87, of Bryant Pond, died at his home on Thursday, Sept. 5.

He was born in Bryant Pond on May 19, 1926, the son of Everard and Myra (Wilson) Harlow. He attended Bryant Pond schools and graduated from Woodstock High School. Bud served in the U.S. Navy from August 1944 through June 1946, and was a member of the Floyd Harlow VFW.

Bud loved cars and worked as a mechanic most of his life, having worked for O.K. Clifford Company in South Paris for many years and later at his own business, B & K Motors. He loved camping, especially in the Bar Harbor area. He also loved his church family, having been a member of the Oxford Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where he served as an elder and deacon for many years.

Bud is survived by two sons, Michael Harlow and his wife, Julia, of Norway and Kerry Harlow and his wife, Trudy, of Bryant Pond; one daughter, Patti Yates and her husband, John, of Norway; one brother, Robert Harlow of Freeport; three sisters, Eva Bowers of Norway, Marilyn Huston of Bryant Pond and Rose Hersey of South Paris; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Evis “Pip” Harlow, in 2006.
