LEWISTON — Sandra J. Scott, 63, of Rumford, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

She was born in Rumford on Aug. 16, 1950, a daughter of George and Cecilea Scott of Mexico.

Sandra was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, and watching races. She just enjoyed the simple things in life.

Surviving are her father, George Scott Sr., of Mexico; son, Donald Gilks Jr. and wife, Georgia, and grandson, Nathan, of Lewiston; daughter, Tammi Bernard and husband, John, and grandchildren, Nickolas, Hunter and Nichole, of Mexico; brothers, James Scott of Dixfield, Daniel Scott and wife, Patty, of Ayers, Mass., and Dennis Scott of Madeira Beach, Fla.; sisters, Gloria Pomerleau and husband, Albert, of Rumford and Denise Blackman of Mexico; best friend, Sheila Bent; godchild, Gina Moulton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother, Cecilea Scott; her grandparents, Jim and Mary Scott, and Emile and Jane Jolin; brother, George Jr.; and infant daughter, Diana Gilks.
