1941 – 2013

GRAY – Frank Jewett, 71, passed peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Frank was born on September 23, 1941, in Gray, to Pleem Jewett and Laura (Thompson) Lambert. He attended school in Gray and joined the U.S. Marine Corps at age 17. Honorably discharged on January 29, 1965. He raised pigs at the family farm for much of his life and worked full time as a truck driver, retiring from LJ Kennedy in Auburn. Frank received numerous driver awards for his knowledge and ability of truck driving.

Frank was known for his fearless attitude and great sense of humor. 4313 & Beyond. All who knew Frank have a story to share and they are TRUE. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Pleem Jewett, of Pownal; two brothers, Harvey Jewett, Terry Jewett and wife, Brenda; three sisters, Lori Valliere, Nancy Ruest and husband, Les, Sheila Day and husband, Sonny; two daughters, Laurie Woodley of Gray,  Annette Sprague and husband, James, of Windham; three grandchildren, Renee Woodley of Gray; Kevin Cole and wife, Kimberlee, of Quantico, Va., Tiffeny Cole of Gray; three great-grandchildren, Kylie Jo Woodley Lewis, Jace Daniel Lewis and Madison M. Cole.

Frank is also survived by his faithful companion, Chubby; his partner in crime John Holmes; and very special friends Teresa Phinney, Bobbie, Gloria and Brenda. Semper Fi Dad.
