“Shepherd’s Pie is one of the top dance bands in the area,” said Robert Underwood, who is organizing music for the event. “We are very happy to have them at the fair for the first time.”
The band, whose roots are in Farmington and which features local area musicians, has been playing an active schedule of weddings and parties this summer, several of them out-of-state.
“We’ve been booked two to three times a month since June for private events,” said Tim Wallace, the band’s guitarist, “so this will actually be the first public performance we’ve played in Farmington in almost three months. We’re really looking forward to it.”
The music starts at 7 p.m. in the tractor pull pavilion.
