1917 – 2013
AUBURN – Yvette Savard, 96, formerly of Clover Health Care, 440 Minot Ave. in Auburn, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Hospice House in Auburn.
She was born in Lewiston on June 1, 1917, the daughter of David and Lucie Pelletier Bourbeau. She attended Lewiston schools. In 1936, she married Napoleon Savard, who died Nov. 11, 1999. She was a member of Les Dames de Ste. Anne of St. Pierre and St. Paul.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa (Roger) Morin of Lewiston, Bernadette Monegain of Brunswick; one son, Donald Savard of Florida; two granddaughters, Sandra (Raymond) Chabot of Lewiston, Kristie (Derek) Sivells of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandsons, Danny Morin of Minot and Steve Morin and wife, Denise, of Lewiston.
She is also survived by four great-granddaughters, Stacie Chabot, Sabrina Kunc and Megan and Nicole Sivells; and four great-grandsons, Jason Chabot and Todd, Greg and Nathan Morin.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Ida Derosier, and by four brothers, Joseph, Larry, Pvt. David Bourbeau, who was killed in the Philippine Islands in 1945, and Leo Bourbeau of Lewiston.
