1924 – 2013

AUBURN — Ambrose J. Flynn, 89, of Auburn, passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, at Clover Health Care.

He was born in Rumford on June 20, 1924, the son of Daniel and Ella McKenna Flynn. He graduated with honors from Stephens High School, Class of 1942. He furthered his education at Saint Dunstan’s University in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He spent many years as the owner of Tri-State Flags and held various other jobs in his lifetime.

He is survived by a sister and her husband, Shirley and Pat Obrien of Rumford and New Port Richey, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Gloria Flynn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Stephen Flynn.
