AUBURN — George W. Swan, 61, of Hartford, died Friday, Sept. 6, at the Hospice House.

He was born on April 21, 1952, in Woonsocket, R.I., a son of Frank and Louise (Montgomery) Swan. He was employed at Camden Yarns and Libbey’s Woolen Mill in Lewiston.

He is survived by his wife, Katharine L., of Hartford; his father of Rumford; stepson, Corey Robbins of Lewiston; siblings, Mina Chadwick, Walter and Franklin Swan, all of Lewiston, James of Andover and Bertha; and four step-grandchildren.
