AUBURN—  Beverly Jeanne Griffey, 70, died suddenly on Thursday, Sept. 12.

She was a warm, compassionate and loving person who lived to enrich the lives of others. She is remembered both for her kindness and for the joy she brought into others lives. She devoted her life to caring for her family; her husband, Dr. Eric Griffey; and also her two sons, Eric and Peter. She was always there and would deny herself to provide for them.

She is also survived by two younger brothers, Lawrence Jr. and Richard. She worked very hard to maintain friendships with various people, many  of whom were friends since her early school years. She was the daughter of Lawrence Sr. and Jeanne Gowell, both deceased. She had a number of grandchildren, Ryan, Austin, Devin, Lauryn, Noah, Cameron and Liam.

She will be sorely missed by all who knew her but she is waiting for the resurrection and will surely be with Christ.
