Lions Club to host Texas Hold’em tourney

HARRISON — The Harrison Lions Club will hold a Texas Hold’em tournament from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the VFW Hall, 176 Waterford Road.

Entry fee is $55. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and space is limited to 100 players.

Refreshments will be available. Proceeds will be used for community services.

Weary Club to meet on Saturday

NORWAY — The Weary Club of Norway will meet for coffee from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the club, 385 Main St. Visitors are welcome.

Legion is holding supper, dance

PARIS — A spaghetti and meatball supper and dance will take place Saturday, Sept. 21, at the American Legion Post 72, 12 Church St.

Supper will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. Cost is $8.

The dance, with music by the Jones Dance Band, will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Cost is $5.
