FREEPORT — The Freeport Fall Festival, now in its 15th year, will run from Sept. 28-29, amid the natural backdrop of autumn in Maine with two full days of free music and the Maine Outdoor Film Festival.

Over 100 artists and Maine food producers will gather on the L.L.Bean campus to sell their original art and fine craft and offer samples and demonstrations.  Bring along the kids – free crafts activities will be available on both days.

Many Festival favorites will return this year including Chris Bilodeau, winner of Best Photography three years running and previous Fine Art award winners Joanna Skolfield, Martin Fosberg, and Patti Trygg.

In the fine craft category, Maine favorite KC Maxson Wood Turning, will join newcomers Rickie Bogle of Lola Arts and Stephanie Petkers of The Wishful Moon. Demonstrations from Maine fiber artists and others will round out Festival activities with an interactive experience.

On the L.L.Bean Discovery Stage, some of Maine’s favorite musicians take to the stage. Headliners Amy Allen and the Kenya Hall Band, will be joined by Max Ater, Serious Rooms, Gunther Brown, and youth ensembles from the Midcoast School of Music.

Saturday evening, the Maine Outdoor Film Festival screens a series of select shorts featuring adventure sports and beautiful outdoor environments. For a full list of exhibitors and a performance schedule, visit www.FreeportFallFestival.com.
