FREEPORT — Area seniors and their families can get information on senior communities, health care, rehabilitation and resources at a free Fall Senior Expo to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5 Park St. There is no admission charge or registration necessary.
CHANS Home Health Care, the home health care division of MidCoast Health Services, will be providing free flu shots all day. Stan Lourie of Stan Lourie Enterprises will conduct antique appraisals from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a $5 fee to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Frankie and Johnny Show will provide live music in the afternoon, and five speakers will give talks ranging from Intergenerational Planning: Protecting and Passing on a Nest Egg to Family and Elder Mediation on site during the day.
Exhibitors range from Pathways Rehabilitation Services, a company that provides senior driving assessments and retraining, to Androscoggin Bank’s Trust and Wealth Management. More than 30 companies will have exhibits.
