Senior Cribbage League winners

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on Sept. 12 were: first, George Bussiere and Henry Maheux; second, Sue Dunlap and Jim Burgess; third, Gil Cote and Roger Labbe; fourth, Ike LeCompte and Robert Oliver; fifth, Monique Nadeau and Simonne Paul.

Next game will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. Due to the increased interest of playing cribbage at the armory, the group has grown to the point that space has become a problem. Regrettably, the league can no longer accept new players.

Lewiston Bridge Club winners

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on Sept. 16 were as follows: first, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second, Patricia Quinn and Rosemarie Goodwin; third, Les Buzzell and Paul Sherman; fourth, Richard Balian and Jim Krainin; first in B, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second, Richard Balian and Jim Krainin; third, Ellie and George Wigton; first in C, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second, Ellie and George Wigton.

Winners on Sept. 17 were: N/S, first, Jan and Vern Arey; second, Jeanine Kivus and Fred Letourneau; third, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; first in B, Connie and Ron Reynolds; E/W, first, Paul Sherman and Mike True; second, Marta Clements and Hazel Glazier; third/first in B, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe.

Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed. Call Rosemarie at 754-1431 for more information.
