From left, Central Maine Medical Center volunteers Harold Warner, Jacob Charest and Jeanne David show off new STAXI chairs in the hospital’s main lobby. Funded by a donation by the CMMC Woman’s Hospital Association, the five chairs are stationed in lobbies at 60 High Street and 12 High Street to provide patients and others with safe transportation in the hospital. CMMC is always in need of new volunteers to provide front desk greeter and valet parking services. Anyone interested is asked to contact Susan Hedrich at 795-2472 or [email protected].
