GRAY — The Maine Game Wardens featured on the popular Animal Planet TV show North Woods Law will be at the Maine Wildlife Park, off Route 26, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, which is National Hunting and Fishing Day.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet several of the wardens and a couple of their K9s, to learn more about them and their job. There will be special items for the kids, autographs will be signed and bring a camera to have photos taken with the stars.

The Warden Service OGT “Wall of Shame,” dive trailer, airboat and other special equipment will also be on display. There is no extra fee for this special event, however regular park admission will apply.

On Saturday morning, meet wardens Tim Spahr, Jonathan Parker, Dan Carroll, Scott Thrasher and Kris MacCabe with K9 Morgan. On Saturday afternoon, wardens Rick LaFlamme, Alan Curtis with K9 Cruizer, Pete Herring and Kris MacCabe will be available for photos and autographs.

Among upcoming events, the Halloween Fest will run from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20.
