LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Jean A. Conley was celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Holy Family Church, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Aaron Damboise celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

At the beginning of Mass, the Pall was placed on Jean’s casket by her children, Paul and Peter Conley and Mary Beth Schoeninger, which commemorated their mother’s Baptism into a new life. The first reading was by her granddaughter, Maureen Schoeninger. The offertory was brought up to the altar by her granddaughters, Katie Conley and Catherine Stergar. Words of remembrance were expressed by her daughter, Mary Beth Schoeninger. Pallbearers were her sons, Paul and Peter Conley; her grandsons, James Conley and Matthew Thurston; her brother, Paul Murphy; and her son-in-law, Carl Schoeninger.

A reception of fellowship was held at DaVinci’s Eatery, following the services at the cemetery. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
