SOUTH PARIS — Mable Alice Dunn, 90, of South Paris, died Monday, Sept. 23, at Market Square Health Care Center.
She was born in Buckfield on Sept. 4, 1923, the daughter of Harry and Louise Richards Buswell. She married Adelbert Harrison Dunn on Dec. 5, 1941. She was employed as a supervisor at Paris Manufacturing and Withington’s Toboggan in Minot.
Mable was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in South Paris and Buckfield, Buckfield Community Church and Senior Citizens of North Turner. She served on the Parks and Recreation Committee in Buckfield in the past. She loved beano, ceramics, crafts and going to craft fairs. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s sporting events. She went to Hawaii with June Andrews.
Mable is survived by her children, Frances A. Cummings of Wallingford, Conn., Geraldine R. Dunn of Auburn, Adelbert H. “Del” Dunn of New Gloucester and Jim Dunn and his wife, Carol; stepchildren, Flora Bone Presley of Friendsville, Tenn., and Perley W. Dunn of Buckfield; grandchildren, Gordon Cummings Jr., Curtis Cummings, Reginald Cummings, Thomas Cummings, Michael Cummings, Leslie Cummings, Bradley L. Dunn, Rhonda J. Dunn, Adelbert H. “Deb” Dunn, Lester A. Dunn and Michael A. Dunn and his companion, Penny Barnes; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Muriel Buswell; and her friend, Penny Overton.
She was predeceased by her husband; son-in-law, Gordon Cummings; brothers, Gene Buswell, Leon Buswell and John Buswell; sister, Louise Buswell Morris; two sisters-in-law, Abby Buswell and Sabra Buswell; and a stepson-in-law, Don Bone.
