1930 – 2013

RUMFORD — Jean-Paul “JP” Blouin, 83, of Somerset St., passed away on Friday, Sept. 27.

He was born in Rumford on June 19, 1930, a son of Raoul and Marie (LeBlanc) Blouin.

JP was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School. He later attended Bliss Business College for 2 years. He was employed for many years with Boise Cascade Paper Co. JP was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior and was a member of the Eagles and the Elks. He loved watching all sports, and most of all was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. JP was a volunteer at the Hope Association for several years.

Surviving are his brother, Francis Blouin of Alfred; four sisters, Rita Brodeur of Lewiston, Alice Theriault of Lewiston, Raymonde Blouin of North Scituate, R.I., Gloria Bernard of Rumford; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Louis Blouin.
