1948 – 2013

LEWISTON — Lorraine E. Lanois, 65, of Lewiston, has gone home to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 23.

She was born in Van Buren on May 30, 1948, to Albert and Rose (Thibodeau) Gagnon. She married Albert Lanois in 1967 and again in 1980. Before retiring she worked as a CNA at Marshwood Health Care for 26 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, several types of crafts, cooking, fishing and making people laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Albert; her children, Jeannine Lanois, Patrick Lanois, Lori Aspinall, Joey Lanois and wife, Amy, all of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Shirly Marmo, Carm Landry, Norma-Jean Whalen; and one brother, Emilien Gagnon.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Patrick.
