POLAND — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s 10th annual Autumn Night Out Silent Auction & Gala event will be held Friday, Oct. 25, at Poland Spring Resort, with proceeds benefiting AHCH’s Hospice Program.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, a wine and beer tasting courtesy of Central Distributors and Baxter Brewing Co., silent auction bidding and music by Denny Breau with dinner, live bidding and music and dancing with The Tony Boffa Band to follow.

Norm Karkos from WMTW News 8 will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening.

“This year’s 10th anniversary event is going to be bigger and better than ever,” said Cyndi Robbins, volunteer chair of the Autumn Night Out Planning Committee and owner of Poland Spring Resort & Golf Course. “With the recent changes in funding and reimbursements as of late, events like Autumn Night Out are imperative to AHCH’s mission to never turn a patient away because of inability to pay. The funds raised via Autumn Night Out mean that every person needing hospice services is cared for, no matter what.”

The silent and live auctions include gift certificates, antiques, art work by local artisans, trips and getaways and a Celtics basketball signed by Rajon Rondo.

Autumn Night Out also includes a special raffle fundraiser for two tickets to closing day of the 2014 Masters in Augusta, Ga. Raffle tickets are $25 each and can be purchased online, by phone or the evening of the event. Drawing will be held at the event on Oct. 25. You do not have to be present to win.

Reservations are $50 per person and seating is reserved. Tables of six or eight may also be reserved for $300 or $400. Reservations and Masters Raffle Tickets can be purchased online at www.ahch.org or by calling 207-795-9404. RSVP by Oct. 15.
