WILTON — Wilton Day Homemakers met on Sept. 12 with 18 members present along with two guests. Two joined the group, Toni Bowering and Elizabeth Morrison.
Advisory board reported a 4-H contest at Farmington Fair for a gingerbread recipe from 1913.
Rotary tree will need 15 ornaments from each group, to be dropped off at the Extension office no later then Dec. 2. The tree will be in the North Church this year.
The annual fall meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, at Farmington Grange. Cost is $10 for a meal. There will be more information later.
A thank-you note was read from the 4-H members.

A craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at St. Luke’s Church in Wilton. Rental cost is $15 a table. Posters will be made at craft day in October.

May 8: Grandmas Yellow Pie Plate, Lillian Miller, dinner, Beverly West and Hazel Flagg; May 15: Cards; June 12: Outing.

The group will meet next on Thursday, Oct. 10 for a discussion on gluten free. On Thursday, Oct. 17, members will be sewing potholders. They should bring sewing machines, fabric, scissors and all sewing items.
