1943 – 2013

WILTON — Hazel Rundlett, 70, of Wilton, passed away at her daughter’s home in Wilton on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

She was born in 1943 in Kentucky, the daughter of James H. and Angie C. Fields. Hazel married James Rundlett on Nov. 9, 1957, in Kentucky. She moved to New Vineyard in 1962, where they lived and worked at the Wood Mill. She raised her six children there and then moved to Wilton in 2000, where she has lived ever since.

Hazel enjoyed camping, fishing and family. She was a loyal member of the First Apostolic Church in Wilton.

Hazel is survived by her daughters, Linda Ross of Wilton, Barbara Rundlett of New Gloucester and Angie Rundlett and companion, Jamie Millett, of Jay; sons, Donald and Douglas, both of Jay, and Rex Rundlett and his wife, Dorothy, of Benton; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy, Gloria-Jean and James Fields, all of Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, and many special adopted grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband; two sons, Ronald and David; her parents; sister, Betty; two brothers, Lonnie and John; and a son-in-law, Mark Ross.
