1935 – 2013

FAYETTE — I, Joseph Clifford Gould Jr., 78, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29.

I was born in Wilton on Sept. 12, 1935, the son of J. Clifford and Margaret (Martin) Gould. I was a Marine Corp veteran, having served during the Korean War. I was a Maine State Trooper during the early 1960s and worked as a car salesman for Bailey Brothers Ford.

I am very proud of my three children who survive me. They are: Stephen Gould and his wife, Sandra, Theresa Desjardins and her husband, James, and Thomas Gould. I will now be in Heaven with my deceased daughter, Marie. I am also survived by my stepson, Shawn Barclay; and my sisters, Eunice (Gould) Hawley, Margaret Gould and Francis (Gould) Woods. I am also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. I will miss my close friends, Bea Doyle, Ford and Sue Stevenson, Dennis Bamford and Bernie Laverdiere.
