1940 – 2013
LISBON — Sandra “Sandy” L. White, 72, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 11, 1940, the daughter of the late Barbara Morris, Coleman Campbell and Alfred Hunnewell. She was a lifelong resident of Upland Road in Lisbon and a graduate of Lisbon High School, Class of 1959.
Sandy worked for BIW for 27 years. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 166 and an avid bingo player.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Billy A. White; a daughter, Darice L. Anctil and her partner, Nancy Clearwater; a son, D’Arcy C. Anctil Jr. and his fiancée, Shasta Roy; and three grandsons, Ryan A. LeBlanc and wife, Christine, Matthew S. Anctil and wife, Bobbi Sue, and Nathan C. Anctil. She also leaves behind a brother, Ronald “Beau” Campbell and his wife, Nancy; a nephew, Trevor Campbell; a great-niece, Courtney Campbell; two stepdaughters, Patricia Cyr and Carol Goupil; as well as numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and former brother-in-law, Gerald Anctil of Tampa, Fla.
She was predeceased by D’Arcy C. Anctil; and a stepson, David LeBlanc.
