AUBURN — Skelton, Taintor & Abbott, 95 Main St., announces that distinguished business attorney Robert J. Waeldner has joined the firm. Waeldner advises companies regarding operational and strategic matters required to achieve and sustain efficiency, growth and profitability.
Prior to merging his practice with Skelton, Taintor & Abbott, Waeldner spent nine years running his own business — a solo law practice advising businesses in Maine and Massachusetts. He served as outside general counsel to emerging and growing businesses and also assisted in-house legal departments at publicly traded companies.
He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Maine, Massachusetts and Wisconsin.
Waeldner currently serves as chairman of the IT Technology Review Board of the Maine Technology Institute and has been a Review Board member since 2006. Waeldner also served on the board of directors of the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce for seven years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Yarmouth Little League, is a mentor within the Yarmouth School District and also coaches youth baseball.
