NORWAY — Occupy Oxford Hills will show the film, “A Whisper to Roar,” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Fare Share Commons, 443 Main St.

The story is of pro-democracy activists in Egypt, Malaysia, Ukraine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe who found themselves swept up in revolutionary uprisings midway during production of the film. A reviewer writes, “Writer/director Ben Moses has once again found a powerful way to reveal the human side of history.”

Discussion will follow the film.

A potluck will be available at 6 p.m.

Film showings covering a variety of themes take place on the second Friday of each month.
