The gullibility of American society has reached its apex. Kowtowed by unprecedented apathy and beguiling liberalism, the nation forfeited its vigilance as congressional scoundrels forged deceitful policies under the very noses of a dozing populace. With paralyzing debasement, Americans embraced dubious commentaries from media dullards and hypocritical bureaucrats, effectively justifying covert conspiracies.

The prospect that coalitions within the government would engineer deceptive agenda in these United States of America overwhelms the sphere of credibility.

However, though most nations arise with promises of honest and fair government, bureaucracies inevitably mutate into corrupt factions, wielding apocalyptic power over populations of subdued hostages.

Accordingly, in a moral and ethical collapse among governing potentates, values beyond wealth and power dissipate as so much dust in a wind storm. Sadly, oppressed, cowering peasants and their families become little more than expendable commodities for self-serving dictatorial rogues.

Despite party affiliations, the present Congress is the greatest affliction to infest this nation since the dark days of McCarthy paranoia. Holding American families hostage to resolve infantile tantrums is traitorous. How so few individuals acquire enough power to cripple a democratic nation defies logic.

However, with their paychecks and benefits secured, their bills paid, their families well fed, they have no incentive to end this nightmare for incalculable families whose lives now border on disaster.

If only Americans realized the power that is theirs in unity, this country would belong to the people again instead of a few Washington demigods.

Alas, that is but a quixotic dream.
