Musical America’s 2012 Musicians of the Year, cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han are joined by violinist Philip Setzer, forming a peerless chamber music trio. Finckel and Han rank among the most esteemed and influential classical musicians in the world, bringing talent and energy and imagination to every concert performance.
Add violinist Philip Setzer, a founding member of the Emerson String Quartet where he played alongside Finckel for 33 years, and who has garnered awards and acclaim worldwide and you have an incomparable trio. These three accomplished artists will perform a program of works by Beethoven, Shostakovich and Dvorak.
Tickets for Finckel, Han and Setzer are $40 for Ovations’ members, $44 for the general public and a limited amount of $10 student tickets are also available.
