AUBURN — The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA will offer “Fueling for Success,” a nutrition workshop presented by Brady Goldschmidt, registered dietitian and certified personal trainer.
The workshop will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the YMCA, 62 Turner St. It is free to Y members and $10 for community members.
Goldschmidt works at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and is expanding his services to the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA in the hopes of increasing nutrition awareness in the area. He will discuss pre-workout fueling of complex carbohydrates followed by appropriate recovery techniques through the use of varying protein sources to help repair muscles. Learn how to successfully utilize nutrition and physical activity to maximize your workout and reach individually tailored goals.
