LEWISTON — Kevin Lewis, CEO of Maine Community Health Options, recently announced that Michelle Eliasen has joined the organization as senior network pricing analyst. MCHO is a nonprofit organization that will provide affordable health insurance to Maine people and small businesses.

Eliasen has worked in health care finance for more than 18 years. Before joining MCHO, she worked for Central Maine Health Care as a decision support analyst. Her earlier experience includes serving as a lead financial analyst for government programs at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She has comprehensive experience in auditing, budgeting, financial statement preparation and analysis. The responsibilities of her new role will include interpreting and reviewing financial modeling results, developing forecasts and evaluating the financial impact of contract changes.

She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westbrook College/University of New England. She lives in Lewiston with her husband and three children.
