PORTLAND — Tellabration! Portland 2013 is a worldwide storytelling event, sponsored by the National Storytelling Network. It creates a network of storytellers and listeners on every continent (except Antarctica) bonded together in spirit at the same time sharing tales and songs. Locally, Tellebration! brings together each area’s most celebrated storytellers to delight, captivate and mesmerize audiences with their tales.

Franco-American, Lewiston, Maine-native Michael Parent, master of ceremonies, will introduce the following seasoned storytellers: Lynne Cullen, Pat Gardiner, Jackson Gillman, Debb Freedman, David Handwerker, Audrey Mason, Donald Spear and Bill Hinderer.

Join members of the Maine Organization of Storytelling Enthusiasts as they entertain with stories. Suggested donation is $10 per person.

Tellabration! 2013 will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Portland Public Library, 5 Monument Square. For more information, visit www.portlandlibrary.com, www.facebook.com/MooseTellers or www.tellabration.org.
