OXFORD — Girl Scouts of Maine will offer the “Sewing 101” Series for girls in grades four and up in the Oxford Hills area.
Cathy Corbett will teach the four-week sewing series. It will cover basic techniques, such as how to use a pattern, complete a sewing project and more. Individual projects will be girls’ own choice by skill level.
The program will be held at Oxford Mill End Store on Saturdays for four weeks in November.
The cost is $3 for currently registered Girl Scouts. There is an additional $15 membership fee for non-Girl Scouts. Membership assistance is available for the membership fee.
Space is limited. Preregistration is necessary by Oct. 28.
