1958 – 2013

SABATTUS — Julie Ann Edwards, 55, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

She was born in Portland on June 13, 1958, the daughter of Eva (Wilson) and Maynard W. Robinson Jr. She was a member of her school dive team and graduated from Greely High School.

Julie had a lifelong love of water and her favorite place to be was at camp on Sebec Lake. She also enjoyed NASCAR and her favorite driver was Kurt Bush. She was also a die-hard Patriots fan. She belonged to a crafts club, enjoyed making puzzles, traveling, snowmobiling, being in the sun and loved animals.

Nothing in the world gave Julie as much pleasure as being with her grandchildren, her son and her husband. Being in a relationship was what life was all about for her. Julie’s career as a caregiver came to her naturally. She had a ready smile, was friendly, outgoing and an all-around happy person.

Julie is survived by her soul mate of 26 years and husband, Richard B. Edwards; her son, Dustin Hight and his companion, Kim Cook and their children, Mason, Logan and Makayla; her brothers, Jeff Robinson and Maynard W. Robinson III; as well as a large extended family of friends from Washington state to Maine.
