RANGELEY — On Friday evening, Oct. 11, memorial visitation for Sheila Haley was held at The Barn, the welcoming vestry of the Rangeley Congregational Church. A public memorial service celebrating Sheila’s life followed on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. from the Rangeley Congregational Church with the Rev. Cathie Wallace officiating. Sue Downes-Borko was the pianist and longtime friend, Jean Stewart, gave a personal eulogy and offered the reading “Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep.” Congregation hymns included “Amazing Grace” and “In The Garden.” The readings were Psalm 122 and 1 Corinthians 13. The postlude was the “Yellow Rose of Texas.” Following services, a comfort reception was held at the Kemankeag Masonic Lodge on Richardson Avenue in Rangeley. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center and Funeral Home of Farmington.
