- Procter & Gamble Co. employees from the Tambrands plant in Auburn recently volunteered at a school pantry distribution at Edward Little High School in Auburn. At the event, Good Shepherd Food Bank received $20,000 from Procter & Gamble for expansion of its child hunger programs. Good Shepherd will use the $20,000 award to build the organization’s capacity to offer child hunger programs, expand current programs to new sites throughout Maine and to ensure program sites have adequate capacity to operate sustainably.
