PHILLIPS — A local woman was issued a summons on a civil violation of having a dog at large that killed several cats, Colt Sleaster, a Franklin County sheriff’s deputy, said Friday.
A woman from the Reed’s Mill Road area in Phillips reported a dog killed her cats on Thursday. Sleaster investigated and tracked down the owner of the boxer-mix dog.
He issued Jennifer Boyd a summons in the case. She is scheduled to appear in a Farmington court on Nov. 13.
