RUMFORD — Memorial services for Elizabeth A. “Betty” True, of Rumford, were conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Praise Assembly of God Church, 89 Congress St., Rumford, with the Rev. Justin Thacker officiating.

Music selections included “Never Alone” by Lady Antebellum and “One More Day” by Diamond Rio. The eulogy was given by her friend, Amy Doughty. A poem, “To My Mom, My Best Friend,” was written and read by her daughter, Jessica True.

A reception followed at the Calvin Lyons Room in the Mexico town hall. Arrangements were under the care of Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., P.O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276.
