Lagasse

HEBRON — The wedding of Michelle Louise Gravel and Neal Richard Lagasse was held at 4 p.m. on Sept. 21 at the Greenwood Mountain Inn in Hebron. Kerry Irish, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Lagasse is the daughter of Fernand and Louise Gravel of Lewiston. Mr. Lagasse is the son of Onile Lagasse of Auburn.

The bride wore a strapless gown in A-line style, with chiffon split front overlay, metallic embroidery and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white roses and purple Calla lilies.

The couple made their own centerpieces out of white birch and tee lights.

A sister of the bride, Celeste Gravel, was maid of honor and Debbie Smith, another sister, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Lagasse, sister of the bridegroom, Kianna Lagasse, daughter of the bridegroom, and Kristina Smith, niece of the bride. Kayla Smith, niece of the bride, was flower girl. 

Derek Wyse, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Dustin Chappell and Rick Morin, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Greenwood Mountain Inn, after which the couple traveled to Bar Harbor. They are residing in Poland.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with emphasis on advertising. She is circulation coordinator at Geiger.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Edward Little High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is employed at General Dynamics, NC Miller 2.
