AUBURN — The teen calender for November has been announced at the Auburn Public Library. Activities are for teens age 12 to 18.
Teens! Friday Stress Reliever: Friday, Nov. 1, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room. It’s “Friday at the Movies” and “The Hunger Games” will be shown.
CREATE! Media Lab: Book Trailers with iMovie: Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the CREATE! Media Lab. Create short films or book trailers. Space is limited; call the Reference Desk at 333-6640, ext. 4, to register.
Teen Anime Club: Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room. Teens may drop in to talk about their favorite (or least favorite) manga, watch the week’s selection of anime and try a hand at drawing characters.
Teens Read! Book Club: Friday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Conference Room. Discuss books, share excerpts and make recommendations. Snacks will be provided.
Teen Gaming Hour: Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room. Video games and snacks.
Safe Voices: Thursday, Nov. 14, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Teen Space. Amanda from Safe Voices will chat about relationships and work on projects.
DIY Teens! Writer’s Group: Friday, Nov. 15, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Study Room 223. For teens who like to write and share what they have written. They will also talk about publishing the work in a newsletter format in the spring.
CREATE! Media Lab: Green Screen Basics: Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the CREATE! Media Lab. Space is limited; call the Reference Desk at 333-6640, ext. 4, to register.
DIY Teens! Takeover: Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Teen Space.There is a new project every month, from duct tape art to photography, creating video games or making magnetic poetry.
APL Teens: Teen Advisory Board: Friday, Nov. 22, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Conference Room.
DIY Teens! Media Club: Thursday, Nov. 27, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the CREATE! Media Lab. Make trailers, podcasts and more that will be posted on the website.
