When it comes to Larry Gilbert Sr. for mayor, we’ve been there and done that. We need a chief executive in Lewiston, not a photo op “leader.”
Gilbert’s weekly column in the Twin City Times mostly amounted to apology tours which held America in a less than favorable light. Another term would be another series of photo ops and more apologies.
I have had enough apologies for America from President Obama for this nation’s proud history, but never for Benghazi, “Fast and Furious” and a host of other slights on the American justice system.
I want a mayor who is proud of America, Maine and Lewiston, and that is Bob Macdonald.
