LISBON — All candidates are running unopposed in the annual municipal election Tuesday, Nov. 5, Town Clerk Twila Lycette said.
Candidates are:
* Town Council, District 1: Eric G. Metivier of 277 Lisbon St.; Councilor Gina Mason is not seeking re-election.
* Town Council, District 2: Roger S. Bickford, incumbent, of 151 Main St., Lisbon Falls.
* Town Council at-large: Christopher Brunelle, 328 Lisbon Road; Councilor Fernand Larochelle Jr. is not seeking re-election.
School Committee: Tracie Jo Austin, 72 Webster Road, and George P. Caron, 50 Main St., both incumbents.
Water Commission: Incumbent William A. Bauer, 13 Earle St.
Three bond questions on the ballot are supported by the Town Council.
The first seeks voter approval of up to $1 million to buy, demolish or renovate the Worumbo Mill property. The bond would be for up to 30 years.
The second seeks voter approval for up to $1.75 million for construction of a water tank and all related equipment. The bond would be for up to 20 years.
The third seeks voter approval for up to $650,000 for the Water Department to replace 4,300 feet of water main on Frost Hill Avenue. The bond would be for up to 20 years.
Polling hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voting in Ward 1 is at the Superintendent’s Office on Gartley Street, Lisbon Village; Ward 2, MTM Community Center, School Street, Lisbon Falls.
