Jay police officers visited Jay Elementary School on Oct. 29 to talk about Halloween safety. Detective Richard Caton and Officer Nichols Gulliver (AKA Officer Friendly), who was dressed as a clown, talked to the children in grades kindergarten and one. They talked about safety rules to follow if they go out trick or treating on Halloween. Jay police visit the school each year.
