Church to host bean supper

OTISFIELD — A traditional baked bean supper will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, 231 Rayville Road. Menu will include baked beans, brown bread, rolls, red and brown hot dogs, coleslaw, pickles and apple crisp.

First seating will be at 5 p.m. and a second seating at 6. Donations will be appreciated.

Town to sponsor rabies clinic

HARRISON —  A rabies clinic will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Harrison Town Office.

Rabies shots will be $10 a dog or cat. Residents and nonresidents are welcome. Dog licensing will be available for Harrison residents.

Proof of prior rabies vaccine is required if applicable. If the pet owner cannot provide proof of prior vaccination, the vaccine will only be valid for one year.

FD Auxiliary sponsoring supper

PARIS — The Paris Fire Department Auxiliary will hold a supper featuring soups, chili and chowders with bread, salads and sides, along with homemade pies, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the fire department, Western Avenue,

Cost is adults, $8; ages 4 to 12, $4; under 3, free. All proceeds will benefit the Paris Fire Department Auxiliary and fire personnel.

Alpha and Omega yard sale

PARIS — Alpha & Omega Ministries Inc./Alpha & Omega Thrift Shop, 527 Park St., will hold an end-of-the-season yard sale and customer appreciation celebration from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily Wednesday, Nov. 7, through Nov. 21.
