LIVERMORE — Selectpersons will hold an emergency meeting tonight to appoint a resident to the Board of Appeals.

The board will meet at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Town Office.

The appeals board is scheduled to hold a public hearing and meeting Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Town Office to consider a variance request from Alan and Kerry Labbe to allow them to build a garage within the 100-foot setback requirement from a pond, Administrative Assistant Kurt Schaub said.

One member of the three-member board has to leave town for a family emergency and will not be able to make it, he said.

To meet the time frame requirement in the town’s ordinance for the hearing, another member must be appointed.

Resident Mike Simoneau has agreed to serve on the board.
