Billed as “a Celebration of the Guitar,” this event commemorates the legacy of the late Lenny Breau, a native of Auburn. Nearly 30 years after the legendary jazz guitarist’s untimely death in 1984, Breau remains internationally renowned for his nearly superhuman technical ability, his ground-breaking innovation, and was hailed by no less than Chet Atkins as “the world’s greatest guitarist.”

Proceeds from the concert will go to the Lenny Breau Memorial Scholarship.

Long-time radio host “The Humble Farmer” will be featured as the master of ceremonies, and performers will include Denny Breau (Lenny’s younger brother and event founder), jazz legend Brad Terry, Mark Miller, Arlo West, Ken Goodman, Kevin Kimball, Frank Coffin, Peter Herman, Mike Stockbridge, Justin Lindsey, and others.

Tickets are $15 at the door or in advance at Main Street Music Lessons in Auburn. Franco Center doors (downstairs) will open at 12:30 p.m.
